[mp3] Titus Andronicus – “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape…”

With 2010’s best album now two years in the rearview and a new record in the works for a late-2012 release, New Jersey beer-punks Titus Andronicus have decided to get all generous on us.  The band posted a free 23-track mixtape on their Tumblr the other night which features a collection of outtakes, demos, live cuts, and covers (including The Replacement’s deep cut “Treatment Bound”, “I Fought the Law”, a couple of Weezer tracks, “Heroin”, and Television Personalities’ “Anxiety Block”).  Thrown all together, it’s sort of one big mess.  But it’s a glorious mess that shows just about every facet of what makes Patrick Stickles’ band one of the most promising pure rock & roll bands alive today.  Check out the “promo” single “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape with the Flood of Detritus”…
