It’s already been a productive year for Arrange, the recording project of Florida’s Malcom Lacey. His promising Quiet State EP has gotten lots of play around here over the past two months, and Lacey was kind enough to contribute to a recent “Further into Songs” feature about the recording process of its devastating drone/noise centerpiece “Ivory Carpets”. For the prolific writer and home-recorder the next project is going to be called Plantation and will be released on May 17. Check out the first single – the sort of glitchy, hymn-like ambient-pop of “Turnpike”. Set myself on fire/ I don’t want to be desired.
